About the Studio

Twenty years ago, still in High School, we started playing TTRGPs together in the basement of our Dungeon Master. Since then, we have played numerous systems, including Dungeons and Dragons (3.5 and 5e), Call of Cthulhu, Cyberpunk 2020, Conan: Adventures in an Age Undreamed Of, and our current favority, Old School Essentials by Necrotic Games. Over the years, we have played many of the classic campaigns and written our own stories.

Founded in 2026, Voltaria Games was born from the desire to share the stories we loved to bring to our tables. The name is a reference to our first DnD characters, Voltar the Terrible, a wizard turned pirate (because pirates are cool), and Aria XXX, the beastmaster barbarian with a neck for violence (we were both teenagers then).

Our Design Tenets

If you play a module bearing our logo, you can expect the following:

• High Lethality: Embrace the comic death of your character. Learn from it. Always watch the ceiling. Bring your 10-foot pole. Mind your steps.
• Setting over railroads: We provide the setting, but urge you to make the adventure your own. Do encourage the players to do the same.
• There is always a solution: If a puzzle blocks your path, look to your inventory, the environment, or a way around it.
• Faction Play: The dungeon is a living ecosystem. Factions scheme, ally, and war with one another whether the players intervene or not. Everybody has a motivation and a reason to be there, use that.
